The 1988 All-Ireland Football Hurling Championship Final was a Football match which took place on Sunday, 18th September 1988 at Croke Park between Meath and Cork and had an attendance of 65,000 The Final score saw the team finish level 0-12 to 1-9. The reply took place in Croke Park on the 9th October and Meath over came Cork by a single point. Meath 0-13 to Cork 0-12.
The Number 3 Jersey for Meath was worn by Mick Lyons. Mick played for Meath from 1979 to 1992 and has 2 All- Irelands, 5 Leinster titles, 2 NFL’s and 2 All Stars to show for his time.
This Jersey was designed by Cul Sliotars in partnership with Hurling for Cancer Research. €5 from each Jersey sold is donated to this great cause.
