The All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship of 1997 was the 111th staging of Ireland’s premier hurling competition. Clare won the championship, beating Tipperary 0-20 to 2-13 in Croke Park.

No. 7 is on the back of this jersey and was worn by Captain Anthony Daly. Manager of the Clare team this year was Ger Loughnane. Clare got six All Stars this year with Jamie O’ Connor picking up player of the year.
